When I was little, I spent a lot of time alone. At night, to soothe myself to sleep I would arrange all my stuffed animals around me. I’d put the blanket over all of us and tuck it in on all sides and pretend we were hurtling through vast space alone in a spaceship. These images capture it almost perfectly.
Now, even decades later, i still like the blanket tucked in around me… you know — for safety.
